Peppermint Hard Candy Soaps

I used my new soap making skills to make these peppermint hard candy soaps to give for Christmas gifts this year. I generally don't like soaps made to look like food. I think it's because if it looks good enough to eat, I want to eat it!! But these were too cool to resist. I used a mint fragrance and added some soap glitter to make them sparkly.

Here they are all packaged up like a proper hard candy.

Finally I wrapped them together with some real goodies (to actually eat).

I was inspired by the mini mince pies that I saw in the UK to make several different types of mini pies (not mince though). I made Apple Cranberry, Coconut, Chocolate Pecan, Chocolate Chip, Dutch Apple and Coconut/Pecan/Chocolate.
