Wild Hogz Part 2

We got some better shots of our resident hogs. There are definitely 2 groups of 5 or 6. Last week the Discovery Channel aired a show called "Pig Bomb" that was all about the wild hog population in America. They said that the population of wild hogs is exploding due to the fact that one female hog produces an average of 18 piglets every 14 months. Because of this hogs are starting to be found in more urban areas and it will be close to impossible to control their population. They also confirmed the story we heard about the introduction of the Russian Boars that resulted in more aggressive, larger wild hogs, that can run up to 30 mph. They've found hogs weighing up to 1000 lbs! No more walking through the woods for our kids!

If we want to get anything done around here we first must get our hogs in a row (as well as our ducks). Line em up! Check out the tusks on that first one.

Look at the hair on this guy. Eat your heart out Billy Idol.

ooo-wee. he's not very cute is he, bless his heart.

Let me just stop here and take a moment to explain the correct way to express criticism in the south. There are basically 2 approaches.
1. You can say basically anything as long as you say "bless his/her heart" afterwards.
2. The sandwich technique. In this approach, you sandwich the criticism around 2 complements. For example: "That hog has the most beautiful color hair. His hind end is as wide as a bus,but he has the most beautiful coat."

Only here on this blog can you learn facts about wild hogs AND learn proper southern etiquette all in one post. You can't beat that with a stick.
